How To Make Brown Sugar

Don't have brown sugar on hand? Or just want to make it yourself? It is easy and only takes about 5 minutes to make.

Making light brown sugar

1. Measure one cup of granulated sugar and one tablespoon of molasses into a mixing bowl.
2. Stir with a fork until completely mixed.

Making dark brown sugar

1. Measure one cup of granulated sugar and two tablespoon of molasses into a mixing bowl.
2. Stir with a fork until completely mixed.

What you will need to make brown sugar

• Granulated (white) sugar
• Molasses
