Corn Casserole

A delicious corn bread casserole that is a college favorite because it's simple, inexpensive and tastes like good home cooking! It combines the textures of both cream style and whole corn with sour cream and corn bread mix, topped with cheese.

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14.75 ounce) can creamed corn
1 (8.5 ounce) package dry corn bread mix


Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).

In a large bowl combine melted button, corn, creamed corn and corn bread mix. Transfer to a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until center is set and top is light golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
