Apple Cider Syrup

Yield

about 3 cups

Ingredients

1 cup granulated (white) sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups apple cider
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together in a medium sized saucepan. Add cider and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and stir the butter until melted. Serve warm.
