Shortbread Crumb Crust

Yield

1 9" crust

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups (22 cookies) shorbread cookie crumbs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar

Directions

*Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). In a small bowl, combine crumbs, butter and sugar. Press onto bottom of ungreased 9" springform pan with removable bottom or the bottom and sides of a 9" pie pan. *Bake for 4 minutes. Cool completely before using.

* Crust only needs to be pre-baked when using with non-baked pie or cheesecake.
