Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

A decadent whipped cream and cream cheese frosting that has everyone asking if they can lick the bowl. It pipes very well.

Yield

enough to cover a 2 layer 9-inch cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup granulated (white) sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a small bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.

In a large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream.
