Orange Cream Frosting

This frosting is delicious and very smooth and creamy. If you want a stronger orange flavor, add an extra tablespoon of orange juice. Frosting tastes wonderful with Rainbow Citrus Cake.

enough to frost one 9-inch cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, room temperature
3 1/2 cups confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
1 pinch salt
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 drops orange food coloring

Directions

In a large bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar and salt until smooth. Add orange juice, corn syrup and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Tint with orange food coloring.
