Banana Icing

This frosting has a wonderful banana flavor. Perfect for icing Banana Bars or double it for your favorite cake.

Yield

enough to cover 24 bar cookies

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, banana, salt and lemon juice using an electric mixer. Beat until smooth.
