Mini Wizard Hats

Enjoy these wonderful hat shaped candies made using Bugles^® original flavor snacks and chocolate -- perfect dessert for Halloween party.

Ingredients

1 (7.5 ounce) bag Bugles^® original flavor snacks
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
2 tablespoons shortening
blue star and gold moon candy sprinkles

Directions

Line baking sheet with wax paper. Using knife, fill each Bugles snack with peanut butter.

In 1-quart heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring constantly. Using fork, dip peanut butter-filled snacks, one at a time, into chocolate mixture, letting excess drip off. Place on wax paper; sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Let stand until chocolate is set. To quickly set chocolate, refrigerate 30 minutes.

Additional Information

Sift through the bag of Bugles^® for whole pieces with wide openings. These will be easiest to fill with peanut butter.

Storage

Store between sheets of wax paper in tightly covered container at room temperature.
