Creamy Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry shortcake with a deliciously creamy twist.
2 tablespoons PHILADELPHIA 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese, softened
1 tablespoon strawberry preserves
2 individual sponge cake shells (1/2 of 4.5-ounce package)
8 fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tablespoons thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping
In a small bowl, mix reduced-fat cream cheese and preserves. Spoon into cake shells. Top with berries and whipped topping.
Preparation/Total Time: 10 minutes
You can substitute seedless raspberry preserves for the strawberry preserves and/or angel food cake slices for the individual shortcakes.
Desserts can be assembled ahead of time. Store in refrigerator up to 30 min. before serving.
