Three Fruit Sangria

A sangria made with orange, lemons, limes, burgundy, and cognac.

Yield

5 (1 cup) servings

Ingredients

juice of 1 large orange
juice of 2 large lemons
juice of 2 large limes
1/2 cup granulated (white) sugar
1 (750-milliliter) bottle Burgundy or dry red wine
1/3 cup cognac

Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly; cool.

Combine juice mixture, wine and cognac; chill beverage thoroughly.
