Sparkling Eggnog

A light, yet rich cup of holiday cheer.

4 cups half & half
1 cup pasteurized refrigerated egg substitute
1/3 cup granulated (white) sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 quart (4 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (28-ounce) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage
1 cup chopped red or green maraschino cherries, if desired


Combine half & half, egg substitute, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla in large punch bowl; mix well. Stir in ice cream and carbonated beverage. Garnish with chopped cherries, if desired

Additional Information

Half & half, egg substitute, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla can be combined ahead of time and stored, covered, in the refrigerator. Add ice cream and carbonated beverage just before serving.
