Maple Mustard Barbecued Meatballs and Sausages

Looking for an easy appetizer for a football play-off party? Combine two favorites, meatballs and sausages, to get these mouth-watering appetizers.

1 (16 ounce) package cocktail sausages
1 (18 ounce) package frozen cooked meatballs
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
1 cup maple-flavored syrup
3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard


Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat setting about 3 hours, gently stirring after 2 hours, until hot.

Turn to low heat setting to serve. Serve with large serving spoon. Appetizers will hold on low heat setting up to 2 hours.

Additional Information

Cocktail sausages and meatballs are both easy and popular appetizers. Now you can serve them together in one simple dish. If you prefer just cocktail sausages or meatballs, use 2 packages of either one instead of combining them.
