Hot Cheddar Mushroom Spread

This fuss-free appetizer is great for get-togethers, family parties and potlucks, where it is always a hit.


3 cups (12 servings)


2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 (4.5 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
minced fresh parsley
assorted crackers


Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, cheeses, mushrooms and dressing mix. Spread into prepared pie plate.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers.
