Mix and Match Party Cheese Ball

This bacon studded cheese ball covered in nuts is the perfect addition to any party or for snacking or try one of the variations.

Yield

26 servings (2 tablespoons spread and 5 crackers)

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened (e.g. PHILADELPHIA)
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (e.g. KRAFT)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 cooked slices bacon, crumbled (e.g. OSCAR MAYER)
1 cup chopped mixed nuts (e.g. PLANTERS Deluxe)

Directions

Mix all ingredients except nuts and crackers; cover. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Shape into ball; roll in nuts. Serve with the crackers.

Variation

Dried Cranberries and Almonds: Prepare as directed, substituting 1/2 cup finely chopped dried cranberries for the bacon and finely chopped sliced almonds for the nuts.

Red Pepper and Walnut: Prepare as directed, substituting 1/2 cup finely chopped red peppers for the bacon and finely chopped walnuts for the nuts.

Green Onion and Pecans: Prepare as directed, substituting 1/2 cup chopped green onions for the bacon and finely chopped pecans for the nuts.
