Pecan and Bleu Cheese Crescent Bites

These melt-in-your-mouth bites feature the German bleu cheese called Cambozola, which we liken to a cross between the less assertive Gorgonzola and Camembert.

24 appetizers

1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 (8 ounce)
can Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough
1/4 cup plum jam
1/2 cup diced dried fruit and raisin mixture, chopped
4 ounces Cambozola cheese, cut into 24 small slices
24 pecan halves

Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper, or spray lightly with cooking spray.

If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough into 1 long rectangle. Gently press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough.

Stir jam to soften; spread over dough. Sprinkle with dried fruits. Starting with one long side, roll up dough. With serrated knife, cut into 24 slices; place, cut side down, on paper-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from baking sheet to wire cooling rack. Cool slightly, about 2 minutes.

Top each with slice of Cambozola cheese and pecan half. Serve warm or at room temperature.
